The 31st Celebration
This year I entered into a new stage of my life. I have officially left the 20's. I know I turned 30 last year, but now I'm in my "early thirties." In reality it's not a big deal - let's see next year. A group of us went to the mountain and spent the weekend in a cabin. It was cold but had a great time.
Maggie and Edgar might look like they're watching tv but they're watching the fire - well Edgar is, Maggie passed out from the excitement.
Eric made a new "instrument"
Kiara, Martin, Anthony, and Maggie and Erika with the babies
This picture is proof that all Mexicans wrap themselves in sarapes;)
Hajime and Christina joined for the day.
On our way to find the ski resort...
We found it too late so decided to be a tourist and take picture and try to find deer. We found the deer and Christina thought it was not work being in the freezing cold and abandoned us.
Good morning! The creek behind out cabin.
And then there were four - Maggie, Edgar, Laura and Shalini.
What sign!!?
The water fall was worth breaking the law and getting frostbite.
Thank you to Mike, Laura, Maggie, April, Eric, Erika, Martin, Hajime, Christina and the babies for joining us. Thank you Shalini for arranging it all. If this weekend is a sign of how the rest of the year will go, I'm extremely lucky to have such great friends who will fend in the cold for a celebration, and who will feed me so well.
